The album 'BDZ' was ranked number one with 89,721 points on the day of release, and it kept the top of the daily album chart on the 6th day. It totaled 181,000 points, and it is known the success of 'Park Jin Young X TWICE' combination as well as 'Five consecutive popular marches' in the local area. The record of 89,721 points on the day of the album is the highest among the K-pop girl groups that have entered Japan since 2008 when the Oricon Daily Album Chart ranking began to be released. TWICE, which has been showing off the status of 'Asian One Top Girl Group' by writing various new records after Japan debut last June, showed off the 'new record maker' again. The album 'BDZ' topped the iTunes album charts in seven overseas regions including Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. In addition, the songs including the pre-released 'BDZ' showed off the first to 11th place in the Japan Line Music Top 100 charts on the 12th, and 'BDZ' is still in the top spot on the 17th.
The title song 'BDZ', written and composed by Park Jin-young, is an abbreviation of 'Bulldozer', which means 'Let's break the big wall in front of you like 'Bulldozer' and move forward'. MV, which was introduced with the sound source, is also popular because it can get a glimpse of the charm of TWICE, which transformed into a movie-like story and a lovely 'still warrior'. The album "BDZ" featured a total of 10 tracks, including the title track "BDZ" and single title songs released by TWICE in Japan, "One More Time", "Candy Pop" and "Wake Me Up".
TWICE won three consecutive platinum certifications from Japan Records Association for its debut album '#TWICE' in June last year, the first single 'One More Time' in October, and the second single 'Candy Pop' in February of this year. It was the first female artist single in the world to receive double platinum certification. As the first full-length album, it has continued to be popular with the top of the Oricon Weekly album chart.
